Îïóáëèêîâàíî 23.05.2008

The Partnership Management Board decided that the structure for developing and
implementing the future Training Course would be two-fold:
• a Steering Group (composed of representatives of the European Commission, the
Council of Europe, the SALTO network, the European Youth Forum and the
Partnership secretariat) will be responsible for setting the strategic objectives of the
Training Course, defining its framework, monitoring the implementation and
supervising the evaluation of the course;
• the educational team and the Partnership secretariat will be responsible for the
educational and logistical implementation and evaluation of the course, based on the
objectives defined by the Steering Group.

The Partnership TfT will be intended for practitioners in the field of youth worker training.
The future participants should be trainers with relevant experience in the youth field
needing to further develop their competencies, in order to support their professional
development as trainers able to conduct activities at European level.

The Steering group agreed that the future Partnership Training for Trainers would have a
maximum of 30 participants. A precise profile of participants was developed by the Steering Group and will be used to launch the call for participants.

The final selection of participants will try to ensure a geographical and sex balance. The
particularities of the participants’ recruitment and selection procedures will be defined by
the Steering Group at a later stage, together with the future educational team.
